Our Home Based Educators have warm and caring personalities. They are carefully selected and enjoy working and playing with children.
They provide a developmentally appropriate and stimulating play programme based on Te Whâriki the New Zealand national Early Childhood Curriculum. Educators must meet the requirements as set by The Ministry of Education Licensing Criteria for Home-based Education and Care Services 2008.
Educators homes will be safe, clean and hygienic with a fenced outdoor play area.
Educators homes must be smoke, drug and alcohol free while children are in care, safe and secure.
All members of the Educator's home 17 years and over will have a police check.
Educators must provide a medical reference from their doctor and three referees to be checked.
Educators must gain and maintain a current First Aid Certificate, also paid for by us.
Educators are encouraged to attend additional training opportunities when offered.
Educators receive an hourly rate depending on qualifications.
