Communicate any details to your Educator that will assist in providing the best possible care & education for your child e.g. routines (sleeping, toilet training, television viewing) health problems etc. If required your Educator will provide you with a Routine form that you can complete.
Ensure that adequate, nutritious & appropriate meals & drinks are supplied for your child.
Ensure that your child has adequate & appropriate clothing & nappy changes. It is important that they have a change of clothes so that they are free to play & get messy. Ensure your child has a hat appropriate for the weather & sun block in the summer.
Discuss any behaviour management practices with your Educator. It is important to note that any form of physical punishment is not permitted.
It is your responsibility to provide an approved child restraint to enable your Educator to take your child out in the car. No child will be transported without an approved car restraint according to their age. You can either leave your own or we may be able to assist.
Your Educator is not obliged to have ill children in care & if your child becomes ill while in care you may be required to collect the child immediately.
If your child has dairrhoea or vomited they may not attend care for a minimum of 24hrs after the last episode. Also remember, that if your child is suffering from a contagious or infectious disease, that they should remain away from the Educators home until the appropriate time has passed.
Ensure that you arrive & collect your child at the arranged times & if there are changes to these notify your Educator. All care is charged for to the nearest hour.
Good communication is vital between yourself & the Educator. Let your Educator know that you value & appreciate them.
Contact A Kidz World immediately if there are any concerns about your childcare.
Notify A Kidz World of any changes in circumstances or care arrangements. Changes of address & phone are needed in case of an emergency.
